Each level scoopful of Cell-Vital Premium provides 40 grams (LARGE END) and 15 grams (SMALL END) of the double ended scoop.

Simple supplementation rates from 80 – 120 grams per day (for horses 500 kg bodyweight) provide a practical guideline for supplementing the diets of horses in early training or regular racing.

All-in-one supplement, all you need to add is a salt mix to perfectly balance rations of grains or extruded base feeds, chaff and hay, saving money and time during feed up!

Even when feeding prepared, commercial ‘complete’ feeds designed for high intensity work, many race trainers choose to boost nutrient content and optimise energy efficiency by adding 80 g of Cell-Vital PREMIUM to the ration for the last 5 days before and after racing.

How is Cell-Vital PREMIUM different to the other Kohnke’s Own Ration Balancing Supplements, such as Cell-Perform?

Cell-Vital PREMIUM is a high potency supplement with more iron, vitamin C and certain B group vitamins, especially vitamin B12, which meets the elevated needs of horses in high intensity training, racing and competition.  Cell-Vital PREMIUM includes all the ‘bells and whistles’ of a premium supplement with live active yeasts, nucleotides and other premium nutrients in an exclusive, all-in-one formulation. It is particularly beneficial for sprint-style horse sports which need optimum conversion of feed to energy to perform at high aerobic capacity.

Most working horses can be nutritionally balanced with a half-dose of Cell-Vital PREMIUM, although it is advised to check with our team of Nutritional Advisors to decide on the optimum product and ration balance for your horse.

What else do I need to feed with Cell-Vital PREMIUM?

Cell-Vital PREMIUM has a comprehensive formulation to fulfil the essential micronutrient shortfalls in grain, hay, chaff and commercial prepared feeds.  It is designed as an all-in-one supplement, the only addition you need to add is salt and electrolytes relative to the sweat level of the horse each day.

Cell-Vital PREMIUM doesn’t contain salts, as these would affect the potency and stability of the supplement (salts oxidise sensitive vitamins).  A great salt mix which contains all critical electrolytes is our Cell-Salts (or Troppo-Salts for horses in hot and very humid regions which may be prone to anhydrosis if in hard work).  Follow directions on the pack as a guide to tailor the salt amount to the sweat level of your horses each day.

Many customers ask why Cell-Vital PREMIUM is cheaper per pack size than Cell-Vital or Kohnke’s Own Cell-Perform.  This is due to the higher dose rate of Cell-Vital Premium, which reduces the number of daily doses supplied in each bucket.   We priced Cell-Vital PREMIUM at a cheaper level per kilo than our other ration balancers to still provide an economical supplement for large racing and top performance stables, even though the days supply is reduced in comparison for each pack.
