For most normal horses, Cell-Ultimate meets the required daily nutritional balance, plus provides high quality, useful extras such as probiotics, prebiotics and extra biotin (in a potency protected form) for optimum health and wellbeing.  If you are already feeding the maintenance rate of FABBY, Reboot HOOF+ or both, then you can simply switch to Cell-Ultimate as your main ration balancer (depending on your horse’s size and work intensity). 

Some horses, however, need extra help.  Horses with very poor hooves or hoof problems that require faster regrowth and quick improvements in strength and resilience of the hoof horn, may benefit from an extra scoop of Reboot HOOF+ each day for the first 3 – 6 months.  Feeding Cell-Ultimate does not eliminate the need for the initial dose rate of Reboot HOOF+ if your horse has particularly poor hooves. 

Horses with serious gut dysfunction, including feed sensitivities, poor manure formation, scours or acidic manure may also benefit from an extra scoop or two of FABBY initially for the first 3 months, or as an ongoing supplement in very digestively challenged horses.  Cell-Ultimate is formulated to provide normal horses with a boost of FABBY as a maintenance rate for healthy gut function.

Cell-Ultimate is an excellent choice to make up trace-mineral and vitamin shortfalls with premium, highly bioavailable and potent forms of all necessary micronutrients plus extra functional ingredients such as probiotics and prebiotics plus a hoof supplement. 

Some nutrients, including certain trace-minerals and particularly vitamins, may not be fully supplied by commercial feeds, even those marketed for performance horses.  Contact us for help to calculate top-up supplementation rates for horses on commercial prepared feeds if you are concerned about optimum micronutrient balance of the ration, especially if you are feeding less than the recommended daily feeding rate. 

Cell-Ultimate does not swab or contain banned substances and does not contravene the Rules of Racing or FEI Competition.  This product is a nutritional supplement to support the health and well-being of a horse. It does not artificially enhance the performance of racing or competition horses. Rules prohibiting the use of any pre-race supplements within 24 hours of racing should be followed if applicable in the local jurisdiction.

Cell-Ultimate does not swab and is completely legal to be fed to all performance horses in FEI competitions. 

Cell-Ultimate does not contain added cobalt, so it is suitable for racehorses in training and regular racing.  However, we recommend that you follow local guidelines on use of any supplements prior to race day as exclusion periods for any feed supplements can apply in some jurisdictions.  

Cell-Ultimate is very compatible with Gastro-Coat for stomach health.  Cell-Ultimate contains FABBY, which helps maintain the health of the entire gastro-intestinal system, including the stomach, but with a focus on the digestive processes of the hindgut. 

In comparison, Gastro-Coat is specifically designed to help horses with stomach problems, including gastric acid irritation to the lining of the stomach.  Gastro-Coat is also compatible with gastric ulcer mediations with different, but complementary, actions to omeprazole. 

We recommend that you feed Cell-Ultimate containing FABBY each day as the daily ration balancer, and then add in Gastro-Coat if your horse is predisposed to gastric acid splash and irritation which may show as girthiness, nappiness, picky or reluctant eating. 

Normally, you would feed Gastro-Coat daily for 3 months then reduce to 3 – 4 days a week (especially on riding days for on-going benefits.  Cell-Ultimate containing FABBY will help maintain a healthier stomach as a long-term addition to the diet.  Some horses which are naturally predisposed to gastric irritation, or are competing in racing or equestrian sports, may use Gastro-Coat and Cell-Ultimate as long-term daily supplements. 

We also recommend that Gastro-Coat be provided to any horse undertaking transport.  Gastro-Coat is beneficial when horses are stressed by travel and may experience reduced appetite when at for following the event. 

The all-in-one formulation of Cell-Ultimate, with comprehensive nutritional profile, all-inclusive digestive support, hoof health nutrients, muscle antioxidants and extra protein and specific amino acids negates the need for additional digestive supplements, probiotics, hoof supplements or coat conditioners. 

Many customers find that they can reduce the amount of expensive complete, high additive prepared or complex pre-mixed feeds and add Cell-Ultimate to a more economical, basic commercial feed or high fibre pellet for the same, or better, results!  This saves money and time in the feed room!

Any horse can use the advanced formulation of Cell-Ultimate, which includes the special Supplet® pellets that are used in Reboot HOOF+. Even if your horse has good hooves, they will still benefit from optimised nutrition with extra biotin, in a premium and protected form, as well as high quality protein, added essential amino acids and other nutrients that promote the strength, resilience and optimum condition of hooves, hair and coat.

The protein included in Cell-Ultimate is a very high quality protein with added extra pure amino acids (L-glutamine, L-threonine, L-lysine and L-methionine) that are commonly lacking in prepared feeds and from natural sources.  At a concentration of 10% of the supplement, the boost of protein in Cell-Ultimate is designed to maintain good body condition, health of the coat, mane and tail and hoof horn health too.
